Description
Mid century modern wall sculpture by Finesse Originals. The fiberglass relief sculpture mimics the look of metal in the foreground and looks like wood on the background. The Brutalist style wall art piece features a fisherman with a large net and a village in the distance. The heavily textured piece has shiny, slightly gold, metallic looking areas as well as figured wood grain. If you look closely, you can see welding type “beading”. This indicates that this sculpture was likely cast from an actual steel and wood piece and subsequently replicated in fiberglass and resin. The photo of the backside reveals it’s make-up. There is a rectangular steel tube frame supporting the fiberglass art. The lightweight fiberglass making it easy to hang. We had it mounted on a simple picture hanging hook.
