Pair of Mid Century Modern Danish style lounge chairs. Completely rehabbed with refinished wood frames, new webbing support straps, new cushion foam and new upholstery. Essentially, these are like-new vintage chairs. Exquisite sculpting on these chairs. Unlike any Danish lounge chairs you have seen before. More grace and refinement than that of any top Scandinavian designers. Our chairs were produced in Yugoslavia (stamped below). Solid wood frames, likely ash. Seamless sculpting on the bow of the arms meet the body of the frame with airtight joinery. One must inspect closely to discover how these chairs were crafted. Rear leg extends elegantly to create visual dynamics and capture that perfect angle for relaxing. Fabric is a light gray, period appropriate tweed. These chairs take a Mid Mod classic and turn it on it’s head. Giving the a unexpected aesthetic surprise when they gaze upon these gems.
