Charming set of four Mid Century Modern 1950s era retro dining chairs. Designed by American Edmund J. Spence, in Sweden for Walpole Furniture. Petite, yet sturdy and very stylish. Note the dynamic angles on the back rest and legs. Very Scandinavian inspired design with the durability of birch wood construction. The seats have all been professionally reupholstered in high quality black vinyl. Easy to maintain fabric for the seats, if you spill something, simply wipe it away. Caning on the back upper area is all intact and in great condition. These chairs are in beautiful shape with no substantial wear.
