Beck & Jung Op Art Lithograph Print Signed Numbered

Beck & Jung original hand signed, dated, and framed lithograph. “Computer Ink Plot” created in1982, lithograph print on paper, limited edition print 177/190. Artwork is in excellent condition with no damage. Displayed floating inside of an acrylic pane with black frame. The acrylic is clear. This lithograph was photographed hanging on an orange wall. Note that the background (wall) shows through the clear area of the frame. Artwork is being sold framed.

Swedish artist Holger B??ckstr??m, “Beck, (1939-1997) and Bo Ljungberg, “Jung”, (born 1939) have been working together since the 1960s. Beck was an artist, Jung a mathematician. Together they founded “Beck & Jung” to marry mathematics and art. Often using computer data and numerical information to create their designs. Truly a seminal concept at a time when computing and digital art were just beginning their existence. The pair’s work has been recognized by several College’s and Universities. Work has been shown at several fine art venues including San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
