Description
Sexier curves than a 1950s pinup. This Mid Century Modern Danish lounge chair is a sight to behold from all angles. Just take a moment to immerse yourself in all of our photos. Glance from the side, back and top views. Graceful contours wind to form the left and right side supports. It’s as if these shapes were carved by slowly moving water. It seems near impossible that lines of such elegance could be carved by anything other than nature. Outwardly bowed back legs disperse tension, enhancing structural integrity. Wing like armrests float above the remaining frame. The design is strikingly similar to legend Adrian Pearsall’s 1290-C chair. Our chair is slightly different, perhaps a later year model. Arm rests have been professionally refinished to correct previous uneven tone. Completely reupholstered in beige tweed fabric. All new webbing below the cushions. Incline your feet with the accompanying ottoman. Use this as a chair, but appreciate it as a fine work of art. A keystone piece for your retro collection.
