Description
Early Knoll walnut credenza, vintage 1950s. Extra long profile provides lots of storage. Four caned front doors each featuring an original black leather pull at the top. Left and right sides both contain a cabinet with a single adjustable height shelf. The two center doors cover one large cabinet. This center cabinet holds two wide drawers up top. Maker’s mark resides in top drawer. Super clean lines, a signature of Knoll’s designs. One of the defining manufacturer’s of the American Mid Century Modern movement. This is an heirloom quality, investment grade artifact. In stellar, all original condition. Caning is in amazing shape and exhibits vibrant color. Interior and exterior are clean. Excellent condition, time capsule piece! A couple blemishes, one must search to find. Small veneer repair on corner (see photos). Caning is all intact except for 2 tiny pin size breaks (see photos). These caning breaks have been secured and are near undetectable.
