Rare Milo Baughman sofa for James Inc. This is a fine example of Baughman’s early 1950s work for James Inc. of High Point, NC before he began work at Thayer Coggin. Distinctive early Mid Century Modern design shows Danish influence. Original olive colored tweed upholstery is in fantastic condition — as are the original couch cushions. No rips or stains at all. Seat cushions are soft, pliable, comfortable. Supports underneath are well intact.
