Set of six vintage Fledermaus dining chairs. Designed by legendary Josef Hoffmann. An architect turned designer whom founded the Vienna Secession with Gustav Klimt among others. Hoffmann boasts work in the permanent collections of The Museum of Modern Art and Metropolitan Museum of Art. This set of iconic chairs was created in 1907 for Cabaret die Fledermaus in Vienna. The enduring design was re-released by Thonet in the 1990s. This particular set was produced in the 1990s. Available today, new, at $1,115 per chair. This set of six used chairs is quite a bargain.
