Description
Probably one of the most loved pieces in our store at the moment, this seemingly standard MCM credenza is packed with style and subtlety. Heads turn when the sculpted, rosewood trestle base comes into view. The 3/4 and side views are pure architectural elegance. Nearly every facet has contrasting tones because the maker used an assortment of teak wood species to create contrasting hues and patterns throughout. Fiery cathedral grain is on display from top to bottom. The drawers, doors, top and sides each have personality all their own. The dark, chunky, tawny rosewood pulls on the drawers are yet another demonstration of this discipline. Additionally, the top surface is trimmed with an elevated border of contoured solid teak, adding both practicality and charm. A center bank of three deep drawers is flanked by open cabinet space on either side. The left side features a pull-down drawbridge door.
