Description
Dated 1972, this substantial 33″ tall A.R.P. Studio pedestal is unlike anything we’ve seen from this era, let alone this studio Possibly attributed to Joseph-André Motte, Michel Mortier or Pierre Guariche. The romantic, sinewy nude figures are locked in embrace to create an architectural column that support a round glass tabletop. The 1970’s Neoclassical Revival is on brilliant gold display with this surprisingly tall work of functional art. Ebbing and flowing shades of gold, silver and bronze adorn the male and female forms. The perfect compliment to any Hollywood Regency interior. Practical for countless applications in nearly any room of your interior project.
