Spectacular pair of rare, authentic, T.H. Robsjohns Gibbings lounge chairs. Produced by Widdicomb by the much celebrated British architect and furniture designer, T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings. This remarkable pair of arm chairs are newly re-upholstered. The solid, blond mahogany wood frames still have their original finish. Heirloom quality, with original hand-tied, muslin encased, coil spring cushions. This “Marshall unit” cushion construction is only found in the highest quality furniture. Mid Century Modern, manufactured in the 1950s. However, these chairs show influence from French antiquities in the swag of the front legs. Great Scandinavian inspired angles on the back supports and legs. Do not let these beauties escape you.
