Description

Pair of completely restored Mid Century Modern lounge chairs. Fantastically unique design! Unmarked, but unmistakably exceptional. These chairs were in shambles when they came to us. Both chairs have refinished wood frames, all new cushion foam and upholstery. Outfitted in luxurious slate blue tweed style fabric. Period appropriate nubby upholstery looks vintage. Fabric is very soft and feels lovely against the skin. Design looks similar to work by Paul Laszlo for Brown Saltman. Blond wood frame works well with maple, birch and ash wood pieces. Mix this with your Heywood Wakefield, Conant Ball, Baumritter or Brown Saltman pieces of the same vintage. Circa 1950s. Pure atomic age charm — keystone pieces for your collection.
