Set of four vintage Mid Century Modern walnut dining side chairs from American of Martinsville. These circa 1960s retro chairs were designed by Merton Gershun for Martinsville’s “Dania” collection. Handsome, curved ellipses form the back rest. The Scandinavian style pointed back rests are reminiscent of Peter Hvidt’s famous designs. Sturdy solid walnut wood construction with beautiful architectural form. Wide and deep seats suit today’s standard for comfort.
