Description
Large vintage 1963 modern art painting signed “Rolfe C.S., 63” Abstract image with a large orange amorphous shape floating against a chartreuse field with contrasting streaks of black lines. A few other amorphous orange forms dot the image. One might guess that the artist is representing the last of autumn’s falling leaves or perhaps even a forest fire. The canvas is beautifully framed. The wood of the frame is purposefully lightly distressed.
