Mid century modern coffee table by legendary Danish designer Illum Wikkelso. The solid teak biomorphic base stands as a work of art. The circular 3/8″ thick glass table top allows one to gaze upon Wikkelso’s masterful form without obstruction. The sprawling arms reach upward like the branches of tree while the legs gracefully push down like roots. It is as if Wikkelso aimed to capture the essence of a Banyan or mangrove tree.
