Vertically oriented with the back rests reaching skyward to a Neo-Gothic peak. Keep the funky velvet, or upholster to customize the chairs to your decor. We kept the skirt, it seems to compliment these wild chairs. However, there are solid wood legs underneath. The skirt can be removed to show off the great Mid Century Modern walnut legs.
