Etched signature Higgins glass tray with red and gold pattern. Uncommon design, etched signature indicates that this is a studio piece… NOT mass produced like gold signature pieces. Recessed inner portion hints to this being a butter dish, soap tray or serving tray. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Red and gold colors are radiant. Crystal clear glass with beautiful design resembling a capillary or synapse. Produced by illustrious American artists/designers Michael and Francis Higgins. Mid Century Modern era.
