Extremely rare, early Knoll walnut chest, vintage 1950s. Search the web, you will not find another one anywhere! Use this piece as a bedroom dresser or sideboard type cabinet in the dining room. Two caned front doors cover the large open cabinet space up top. Each door still maintains it’s original black leather pull at bottom. Three spacious drawers below provide additional storage. Super clean lines, a signature of Knoll??s designs. One of the defining manufacturer??s of the American Mid Century Modern movement. This is an heirloom quality, investment grade artifact. In stellar, all original condition. Caning is in amazing shape and exhibits vibrant color. Interior and exterior are clean. Attributed to Knoll, unlabeled but matching credenza bears maker’s mark. We also have a matching credenza in equal condition (sold separately).
