Mid Century Modern couch, vintage 1960s. Designed in the manner of Sergio Rodrigues and Percival Lafer. Sofa was custom made for the original owner at Galloway’s of Tampa. Assembled by Italian craftsman at their Tampa, Florida location. Galloway’s was a high-end furniture store retailing and manufacturing some of the finest Avant Garde Mid Century Modern designs of the time. We’ve had several pieces from them over the years. Their products exhibited only the best materials and masterful construction. Ample cushions appear to float atop the solid wood frame. This same look is prevalent in couches by Sergio Rodrigues. Low profile will compliment your retro coffee table, end tables and lounge chairs.
