Handsome Mid Century Modern cabinet with bookcase top. Vintage 1960s, exhibiting lots of period charm. This is a two-piece unit. The upper hutch portion rests on top of a cabinet deck. Plenty of storage with open shelving above. The caned covered cabinet opens to reveal a secretary space. Caning is original and in amazing condition with no breaks. Lower the draw-bridge style door to create a deeper counter top surface. Compartments inside the secretary enhance organization. This space could be re-purposed as a bar — mix drinks up top and store liquor bottles below in the cabinet. Bottom portion holds a single shelf inside. This shelf is removable in the case that you do not wish to use it. We have another matching small cabinet (sold separately). Excellent vintage condition with only minimal age wear. Top surface of bottom cabinet has been professionally refinished. Top-most shelf on hutch top has a dark area. This flaw is not visible unless you have an aerial view.
