Wonderful set of four vintage 1960s dining chairs. Amazing Mid Century style! So many remarkable design details starting with the pointed, finely tapered tips on the back rests. Note how the center blade of the rosewood backrests intersects with the upper crossbar, reaching beyond its bounds. Center blade of the backrest is rosewood, an atypically luxurious embellishment for American Mid Century furniture. The set consists of two arm chairs and two side chairs. Atypical bow shape to the arms compliment the gentle bow at the top of the chairs. Each of the chairs stands as a work of arm. You won’t simply sit in them, you will admire them as you walk past. Each seat has been professionally recovered in high quality black vinyl.
