McGuire Director Chair. Sold individually with a total of 2 available. Both chairs are in almost identical, excellent vintage condition. We love the combination of patinated oak, brass hardware and leather upholstery above all the other variations we’ve seen available. The oak has a reddish orange, amber patina that is difficult to appreciate until you see it in person. Designed by Leonard Linden for John & Elinor McGuire in the 1950’s, we estimate the birth of these beauties between 1950’s and 1960’s. Each chair has an etched brass label with words McGuire San Francisco.
Each McGuire Director Chair can be folded and collapsed for easy storage or transportation.
