Seemingly typical at first glance, the frame appears familiar, but it exhibits numerous design accents. Subtle, bow-tie angles on the stretchers and headrest section are a perfect contrast to the scooped arms and hourglass shaped tapered ankles on the legs. After closer inspection, this Mid-Century Modern slat-back armchair is sculpted and contoured from top to bottom. We decided to embrace the elegance with a rich, dark-green velvet with button tufting. Our team completely restored the frame and returned it to excellent vintage. The medium-dark tone maple exudes a lush, oily finish that almost melts into the green velvet. Made in Italy, vintage 1950s-1960s.
Crafted of solid, dark toned maple wood. Rigid construction sure to last many more decades. Large enough to be comfortable for most body types, but with an efficient foot print. Ideal for condos, live-work spaces, offices and anyone who is space conservative.
UnNew, dark green velvet upholstery with no imperfections. Maple frame in excellent restored condition and has only very minor imperfections. Original support straps are still very functional.
