Description
At well over 9 feet long (112″), this Adrian Pearsall style sofa appears to be soaring like a B-2 bomber with built-in, floating end tables extending like wings off the frame. The front cross beam of walnut has a slight taper towards the ends to emphasize the look of winged flight. Newly upholstered in red/black tweed to perfectly compliment the walnut and brass drawer pulls.
In addition to style, this comes with plenty of practical function. Remove the back bolsters to transform the sofa into a cozy and convenient bed for overnight guests. The end tables, replete with a single drawer, also provide plenty of real estate for lamps and decorative accents that allow you to keep your space uncluttered. The end tables can be easily lifted off the frame if needed. This function also makes moving the sofa much easier. We’re uncertain of the maker, but looks similar to Adrian Pearsall’s 1709-S model. Except, this sofa has a stylish bentwood supported back rest. This elegant back support feature is an upgrade over Pearsall.
Restoration:
Recently restored with new red woven tweed upholstery with black accents. Frame and original metal spring supports are tight and secure. Walnut end tables and accents along front and sides has been professionally refinished by our in-house cabinet shop.
