Mid Century Modern arm chair. Aluminum stiletto legs. Back rest is a single span of solid wood bent to a curvilinear form. The gentle curves cradle the back. Notice that this piece is not layered ply, rather a single solid span of wood. Bending a solid piece like this is quite the technological feet. Likely achieved by a steam bending process pioneered by Thonet. Chair is unmarked. Fine styling and materials hint that this may be a designer piece. Most likely Danish, or Scandinavian origin.
22" Wide x 18" Deep x 27.75" High (18" seat height)
Excellent original condition. No stains or rips in white vinyl seat. Front two legs have some yellow patina compared to back legs. (see photos)
