Pair of Mid Century Modern Danish style lounge chairs. Newly reupholstered in beige, period appropriate upholstery. New webbing supports. Iconic retro Danish look. Hearty construction appears to be American. Unmarked, but exceptional quality and design. These chairs stand out among their peers of the period. Finely sculpted blade like arms. Solid walnut wood frames are a deep dark chocolate tone. Back spindles are thinly tapered. These chairs are not an exact match. There are very slight differences that can only be found upon close study. Take a look at the photos. Can you spot the differences? One chair has screw hole covers at the top where the spanners meet. One chair is .5″ less deep than the other. Otherwise they seem to be nearly identical. Perhaps different model years of the same chair. We have a sofa that would pair nicely with these chairs (sold separately).
New upholstery, new webbing support straps. One chair has some light cosmetic wear on frame (see photos)
27" Wide x 30.5" Deep (30" deep chair B) x 29" High (16.25" seat height)
