Vintage 1960s modern art oil painting by American painter, Charlotte Smith. Oil on canvas, in a simple wood frame. A single salmon colored tree stands against a backdrop of green trees and blue sky. Painterly, impressionist technique lends a serene mood to the image. We have several of the artist’s paintings from this period. Smith focused on abstract compositions, abstracted still life and landscape paintings. The artist also worked in ceramics.
