Refinished mid-century modern console cabinet by Milo Baughman for Drexel’s “Perspective” line. Vintage 1950s, made in America. This is a modified unit. Legs have been added to the cabinet to make it more practical for today’s use. The open shelving space lends itself to use as record cabinet, entertainment center, media center, credenza or bookshelf. The unit is finished on all sides and can be used as a room divider in open floor plans. Crafted from exotic Mindoro wood of the Phillipines. This exquisite materials has a prismatic effect with the caramel bands of color sparkling through the wood grain as light shines on the surface.
