Description
We are pleased to present this masterfully restored mid century modern Danish rosewood dining table by Falster. Vintage 1960s, with a rich, deep black cherry color to the half-a-century old rosewood. One of Denmark’s finest producers, Falster is synonymous with quality as noted by the Danish Control emblem. Falster Mobelfabrik boast Arne Wahl Iversen among it’s alumni of distinguished designers. The tapered rectangular table cuts a smart, sleek silhouette. Fine details include choice rosewood with an exquisite grain of marbled deep red and near black hues. The table is enhanced with a band of darker solid rosewood trim at the perimeter. The large table reaches over 10.5 feet long when fully expanded and is an ample 6.5 feet long at minimal length. At center are two 26″ butterfly leaf extensions. These leaves fold and stow conveniently inside the table. No need to put them in a closet. Use one or both leaves to achieve the desired length. This is truly one of the finest vintage Scandinavian dining tables we have come across. Stop by the store to see it for yourself, this heirloom quality table is even more impressive in person.
Chairs pictures are NOT included with purchase. This listing is for the table alone.
