The Noguchi end table is one of the best examples of mid century modern design. It was created by the designer with the same name in 1944 and was made for A. Conger Goodyear, President of the Museum of Modern Art. It??s a simple, beautiful design made of glass with solid plastic legs. The organic shaped form is quintessential Noguchi. Put into production in the early 1950s. The original Noguchi Coffee Table was designed in 1944 and is a simple, yet beautiful design made of only three pieces ?? a glass top, and two joining wood pieces for the base.
