Very unique mid century modern writing desk with hutch on top. This is the first time we have seen a piece like this. American made, with a caned front and contoured sculpted pulls borrowed from Scandinavian designs. The top cabinet lifts off the desk base — if one should choose to use the desk without the hutch, simply lift it off. This piece is ideal for homes tight on space. The top portion provides lots of private storage while the desk portion is sufficient for laptop computing or processing household paperwork.
