Rare mid century modern Arthur Umanoff for Raymor room divider with bookcase. This unit exhibits Umanoff’s signature elements of wrought iron, slatted wood and natural fibers. The center panel is a woven jute which is remarkably intact after more than half a century. Unit holds a little surprise. Both the left and right sides fold down and the shelves unscrew to make the unit completely collapsible. This stowable feature is ideal for small spaces. The solid wood shelves are very sturdy making them practical for housing books. A super unique marvel of American 20th century design that is sure to turn heads!
