Description
Masterfully crafted mid century modern Danish teak credenza by Bernhard Pedersen. A fine example of expert Scandinavian cabinetry. Tambour doors distinguish the otherwise minimalist facade. Thin panels of teak wood are tightly joined side by side on a band of fabric to create a fluid door that wraps back into the cabinet along a track. Access the cabinet interior without obstructing the pathway in front of the unit. Three bay design with large cabinets at left and right. Single adjustable height / removable shelf in each cavity. Center hosts a series of three thin, bowed drawers as well as another cabinet space. Sleek pencil tapered legs give an airy feel to the ample sideboard. Back side is finished – an added bonus for open floor plans. This unit can double as a room divider. Thick, contoured solid teak banding enhances the profile. Matching hutch available (sold separately). Place the hutch atop this unit to create a china cabinet / buffet combo.
