Description
Mid century modern Abstract Expressionist painting. Signature at bottom looks to read “Meyers.” Brilliant field of cobalt blue against streaks cream and white. Richly textured knife painting technique adds dimension to the image. The image appears to be a reductionist rendition of seascape. Look closely to see two long boat-like shapes near the middle of the composition. There is a white spherical object at top center that may be the sun or moon. The canvas is housed in a simple metal frame and ready to hang.
