Description
This listing is for two matching end tables. The larger coffee table is sold separately. Chair and accessories are NOT included with purchase.
Pair of Craft Associates Brutalist cylinder shaped side tables. These vintage 1970s (Nineteen-Laties) end tables are a pastiche of work by famed designer Paul Evans. The elaborately decorated resin surfaces were borrowed from Paul Evans premium Brutalist studio pieces. The resin on these side tables has a goopy, heavily textured surface mimicking molten metal. Although made of resin, the surface looks metallic with gunmetal gray, bronze, gold, and black tones. There are etched elements and goopy molded forms resembling large sunflowers. The table tops are the original black laminate. These tables could also be used as nightstands, plant stands, or pedestals for sculpture, pottery, or vases.
We have several more pieces from this Craft Associates Brutalist collection. Inquire if you are interested in the Brutalist dining table or dining chairs. We also have a matching credenza, wall mounted bar, etagere, coffee table, and lounge chairs.
18” diameter x 16” High
Condition: One end tables has no notable wear. The second end table has two areas of repaired resin in the sunflowers (see photos).
