Solid and sturdy construction. Cushioning is in excellent shape. The striped fabric is not original, but looks very tasteful and appropriate for the style and shape of the chaise. Replete with button tufting and piping. The stripes are bands of gold, white, grey, blue and tan. The date of the newer upholstery us unknown. Original, black lacquer, solid wood, atomic age legs provide ample support.
