The gilt accented black lacquer looks outstanding and has also been masterfully and subtly restored. The key to any restoration is making improvements without making it look as though anything has been done. Included with the coffee table is a custom made sheet of 1/4″ glass that completely covers the surface to ensure many more decades of preservation and practicality.
