Extraordinarily unique teak cabinet Borge Mogensen teak cabinet. The warm, golden wheat colored caning makes this Borge Mogensen cabinet particularly special. The woven cane adds a special warmth to the otherwise minimalist Swedish cabinet. Sliding doors make this credenza particularly practical. It’s easy to access items inside, without obstructing the pathway in front of the unit. This cabinet originally sat on top of a sideboard base to create a two-piece hutch. The steel hairpin legs are a new addition, allowing the cabinet to be used independently of its former base. However, these hairpin legs can be unscrewed if you would like to once again place this cabinet on top of a credenza. The pedigree is proven with “Borge Mogensen for Karl Andersson & Soner, made in Sweden” foil label on the back side.

Condition: Very clean vintage condition. The caned facade is intact with no damage. New hairpin legs have been added (these are removable if desired). The top has some light wear including a few small dings and a faint water ring.
