Luxurious black leather Mid-Century Modern, high-back, armchair in the manner of Borge Mogensen. Made in the 1960s and brought back to its original glory by our restoration team. The chair has been fully upholstered in premium full grain black leather, new webbing supports throughout and foam. The Danes are masters of condensing what we love about familiar forms into a simplified, fresh take. Here we have a traditional style wingback chair stripped of fuss, revealing a clean silhouette. True to Bauhaus tradition function has not been sacrificed for form. The Scandinavian chair has a wing back style, high back and curved sides, and features a weighted neck pillow. The ergonomic proportions, curved and headrest maintain comfort.
We have a low-back mate to this chair. Purchase both chairs to complete your “his” and “hers” seating arrrangement.
Even thought these chairs scream out Borge Mogensen, We had a difficult time trying to authenticate the maker or designer. The quality however is outstanding, so rest assured, these will be sturdy and stylish for decades to come.
