Here’s a lucky find, a vintage 1960s Broyhill Saga desk with the original tag! Saga is one of the most inspired collections by Broyhill. Collector’s love its subtle, yet poignant design details. Scandinavian influence is evidenced with elongated ellipse metal pulls, tapered and faceted pencil legs, slight bow-tie angle to the front edge of the desk. The ages old walnut wood has incredible warmth. Time has been kind to this piece, aging the wood like a fine wine.
This desk isn’t all about looks. It is a powerhouse of storage. There are six drawers– including one large file drawer on the bottom right! This desk packs tons of storage capability in a practical size. It is ideal for a work-at-home office. The front and back side of the desk are finished, allowing more freedom of placement in your space.
