Solid wood construction on this studio created, one-of-a-kind dining table commissioned by Furnish Me Vintage. The unique cantilever trestle design tips a nod to modern furniture designer George Nakashima. This table goes a step further than Nakashima, keeping the natural quality of the wood while giving a more distinctive modern feel with 90 silhouette rather than the raw free form. This table is crafted from solid wood, no veneers. One can truly appreciate every aspect of this gift from nature. The artist took care to leave parts of the lumber unadulterated. There are areas where knots give way to open spaces on the table top. This listing is for the table alone. The chairs pictured are solid exotic bamboo, and are sold separately.
