Mid-century Scandinavian modern Danish teak bookcase console cabinet credenza by Dyrlund. Made in Denmark, vintage 1960s, teak wood construction. The unit is finished on back side and can be used as a room divider. This credenza as a prime example of expert Scandinavian cabinet making with etched pull sliding glass doors that operate with ease. Glide these doors to the left or right to reveal the interior space.
There is no want for storage in this extra long teak console cabinet. The Left and rights sides have an open space with a single, removable or adjustable height shelf. Signature Danish styling here with sculpted bull nose edge banding. Ideal for use as an entertainment console or bookshelf entryway.
Not only did our restoration team do an amazing job detailing this Danish teak bookcase, but they have modified it with with a pair of black lacquer Saarinen style tulip bases. We increased the height from the original wood block legs to created an more functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinet. Ideal for an entryway table or media console cabinet to go underneath your flat screen TV.
The sideboard is stamped with the Danish Control mark, a mark reserved for only the finest Danish furniture.
