This is one of the most exceptional Danish teak credenzas that we’ve had the pleasure to present. The deep, roasted cinnamon tone in the teak wood indicates and early vintage, 1950s. A patina of such richness can only be garnered by half a century of age. The elaborate, arched spanners are the crown jewel of this cabinet. The designer took a sharp turn away from the minimalism so often found in Danish furniture. Here the maker celebrates his craft by creating impressive that both arches and bows. This unique design is not purely decorative. The artfully arranged spanners serve support and distribute weight. The finished back side and solid wood, dovetail drawers are also indicators of outstanding caliber. The sideboard is both beautiful and high functioning with ample private storage space.
