There’s an unmistakable sinister look to these sexy high back armchairs. We’re unclear who designed them, but they were certainly inspired by the works of Adrian Pearsall. The tufted, tapered high back profile evokes a regal sophistication that commands respect. Flanked with barrel shaped, deep patina, solid walnut wood frames. The seats and backs were recently reupholstered in N.O.S. (new old stock) vintage Swedish fabric with only minimal fading and imperfections. Tufted in the original pattern. All four arms were removed, re-finished and doweled tightly in place by our in-house cabinet shop. Both chair backs have a bend along tuft line that has been reinforced with metal brackets under the new fabric. They repair a crack in the internal wood support frame along that bend.
