Description
Mid-century modern Drexel Declaration chests of drawers have been restored and restyled. The original walnut chassis have been outfitted with new custom fabricated legs and new brushed nickel pulls. The contemporary touches play nicely off the exquisite walnut wood grain. Designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall, the Drexel Declaration line has become a favorite among American mid-century modern collectors. Use these pieces as dressers or as over sized nightstands besides a large contemporary bed. In the late 1950’s, Stewart MacDougall and Kipp Stewart partnered with Drexel Heritage to design Declaration, a modern collection in natural walnut. These pieces are considered classics today.
