This exceptional coffee table comes to us from Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall. Designed for Drexel’s esteemed and coveted “Declaration” collection. Kipp Stewart’s background in architecture is evident in the keen acuity for precision in this design. The visual acuity rivals the Greeks in the way that visual harmony is achieved no matter the perspective from which the table is viewed. Here we have an oblong “surfboard” shape that bulges at the center and tapers toward the end. The table top is crafted of old growth walnut veneer and balanced upon a pencil turned trestle leg system.
