Description
Mid-Century Modern Eames style lounge chair and matching ottoman made in Canada. Gorgeous tufted black vinyl, bentwood walnut frame, aluminum five-star base and adjustable spring action tension knob underneath the chair. What makes this chair unique is the wide proportion. Very comfortable with plenty of head and neck support. The headrest and back panel are also connected with solid wood support columns which is fairly uncommon among this style of chair.
In the style of Herman Miller and Ray or Charles Eames.
About our restoration process:
The entire wood frame on both the chair and ottoman have been professionally refinished by our in-house cabinet shop. The original vinyl has been preserved in an effort to keep an authentic feel. Our in-house upholstress has however removed and replaced the original piping because it was drying out. Vinyl is in very good overall vintage condition but does have a few blemishes. No rips or tears. Detailed overall top to bottom. Tension knob works as intended.
