Early Grand Prix chair model no. 4130 by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in molded teak plywood. This iconic Danish masterpiece is an exhibition of fundamental mid-century disciplines. Sculpted, blade-edge legs formed from solid beech wood, crisscross underneath and demonstrate architectural beauty. After receiving the highest award at the Triennale in Milan, this chair was coined “Grand Prix”. Stamped “FH” “Made in Denmark” underneath.

VERY VERY GOOD condition. Chair has been gently restored to remove most scratches and imperfections. Finished with hand buffed poly-oil clear coats. Only minor flaws remain (see pics)
