This handsome mid-century modern electric fireplace gives the effect of a true burning wood. Mount the relatively lightweight unit to any wall near an outlet. The unit comes with a French cleat to easily hang. Plug the unit in the experience the glow of a simulated crackling fire. The upper portion of the fireplace is tapered to make it appear to blend seamlessly with the wall. Gold trim highlights the top and bottom edges of the hearth. A chain curtain with brass handles dresses the fireplace in a stately manner. This fireplace has a heating element but the heater does not work. The logs light up, so you will have a visual effect of the crackling logs, but not the warmth.
