Description
Pair of iconic Erik Buch for Oddense Maskinsnedkeri Danish teak barstools. Collector’s may recognize these barstools as Erik Buck for O.D. Mobler… Oddense Maskinsnedkeri had a name change. Designed in 1961, the solid teak stools remain refreshingly Modern. Pedigree is evidenced with the deep red-orange patina garnered only through time. Over half-a-century later, the forward thinking design still captivates the eyes. The stark black seat handsomely contrasts against the warm teak wood. Comfort is enhanced with the padded seat, foot rest and slight, lip-like back support. The barstools have the Oddense Maskinsnedkeri foil label beneath the seat. Don’t miss this opportunity to add these heirloom Danish pieces to your collection.
15.5″ Wide x 17.5″ Deep x 33″ High (30″ Seat Height )
Condition: The barstools are in very good vintage condition and present nicely. Close inspection reveals flaws on the seats including scratches, nicks, and scuffs in the vinyl. There is also some light wear on the wood frame concentrated on the foot rests. The bottoms of the feet have some fading of the wood.
